In an exciting 64th match of Indian Premier League 2025 At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) left the Gujarat Titans (GT) by 33 runs in a high-octane competition.

Opposing the first bowl, the Titans of Gujarat were stunned by a batting masterclass from Lucknow, as the visiting side posted a huge 235/2 in its 20 overs, thanks to the explosive knock from Michelle Marsh and Nicolas Garan. Marsh scored a blistering 117 off 64 balls, increasing the border with 10 fours and 8 sixes, while Gorn remained unbeaten for 56 off 27 balls, maintaining the tempo till the end. Aiden Markram contributed a quick 36 before falling into R Sai Kishore.

GT bowlers fought to include the attack, in which only Sai Kishore and Arshad Khan managed to take a wicket. Despite trying to implement Rashid Khan and Siraj pressure, LSG batsmen were tireless.

In response, Gujarat Titans started aggressively, chasing Shubman Gill (35 runs 20) and Sai Reformson (16 runs 16 runs). However, the regular wicket derailed its speed. Sherfen Rutherford and Shah Rukh Khan played a work knock, but no one could anchor the innings till the end. GT ended with 202/9 in 20 overs.

LSG's bowling was led by William O'Rurke, who took 3 wickets for just 27 runs. Avesh Khan and Part-Timer Ayush Badoni also pasted with two wickets, causing gripping during the death overs.

  • Shubman Gill: In the ongoing IPL 205, he became the highest run gayler against LSG.

  • Nicholas Gariban: Most sixes in IPL 2025 – 40 sixes.
  • Michelle Marsh: Score his first century in its Indian Premier League career. It was the second century to be born in Perth in the shortest format of the game.
