Lucknow-based franchise begins IPL 2025 Season as one of the favorite performance from top-order batsman Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran. However, the top-order lacked the middle-order support.
In the bowling department, young spinner Digvesh Rathi emerged as a magnificent artist with several influential mantras. However, he received minimal support from the rest of the bowling unit, which made it difficult for LSG to include opponents and protect yogas.
He is currently ranked seventh on the points table with five wins and is out of controversy for the playoffs. LSG has two fixtures remaining, one against Gujarat Titans (GT) on 22 May and the other against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 27 May. The team will win both matches and aim to complete their campaign on one high.
