Digwesh Rathi And Abhishek Sharma joined the war of words on Monday, 19 May during the match of Lucknow Super Veterans (LSG) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), when leg-spinner rejected the inaugural batsman and brought out his trademark notebook festival at Ekna Cricket Stadium.
Chasing the target of 206-Run, SRH needed Abhishek to give him a flying start. The Punjab cricketer did exactly the same way that he took LSG bowlers to the cleaner. In the seventh over of the run-chase, Abhishek slammed Ravi Bishnoi for four consecutive sixes. East tried to take Rathi in the following, but extended Shardul Thakur towards deep cover.
Abhishek scored 59 runs in just 20 delivery. When he was making his way back in the dugout, Rathi sent him a fierce. The two cricketers approached each other and were involved in a hot exchange before intervening the umpires.

SRH won the match by six wickets in 18.2 overs, and the customer handshake began, Abhishek could be seen discussing a long discussion with LSG assistant coach Vijay Dahiya. Shortly thereafter, Abhishek and Rathi could be seen exchange of some more words before Dahiya asked the East to move forward.

Later, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla was seen trying to play the role of a peacekeeper among the two youths, and the scenes of that exchange started going viral on social media. Abhishek admitted that things with Rathi are now 'good' after the match conversation.
