The Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025 in a high-handing encounter at Ekna Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) chased 206 runs, defeating Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by six wickets. With this disadvantage, the LSG is eliminated from the playoff race.
SRH won the toss and opted to bowl first before starting LSG. Mitchell Marsh scored 39 runs Rapid 65 runs, which was well supported by Aden Markram for 61 to 38 runs. Captain Rishabh Pant's poor run continued, as he was out of Nicholas Gariban by just seven runs, which added a quick 45 balls off just 26 balls to carry LSG in 205/7.
