Digwesh Rathi And Abhishek Sharma exchanged some fierce words after rejecting the top-order batter during the IPL 2025 match of IPL 2025 between Lucknow Super Veterans and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday, 19 May.
The incident occurred during the eighth over of the run-chase, when Digwesh brought out his customary 'Notebook Utsav' when Digwesh dismissed Abhishek with a googly. As soon as Sharadul Thakur completed the catch deeply, Digwesh took out his aggressive celebration.
Surrounded by his antics, Abhishek went to the bowler before the on-field umpires and the players intervened to spread tension.

Abhishek was to fall SRH's second wicket and was dismissed soon after fifty of 18 balls. He registered 59 (20), including four fours and six sixes. Rathi hit his second over, his figures studied in two overs while reading 1/11, until he fulfilled Abhishek.
