Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are ready to continue their campaign IPL 2025 Against May 17 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Under the leadership of the silver pattidar, men have performed a great season in the Red, where they have won eight of the 11 matches played so far and are currently second on the points table.
Patidar is the eighth player to lead RCB in the IPL, replacing FAF du Plessis, which was released by the franchise before the 2025 mega auction. Star Middle-order batter has also talked about the impact of Virat Kohli in the team, while recalling a moment during the unboxing event where Virat gave him a plaque on 'RCB Podcast'. Patidar also mentioned how much he learns from the legendary batsman in net sessions and admits the amount of that experience with him and the idea that he shares with the team.
“I was empty when he asked me to catch the plaque. Giving me, he said,” You deserve it, you earned it. ” So I felt a little right.
“Whenever he (Kohli) bats in the trap, I see his batting. I learn as much as I learn from him. This is also an opportunity that I am playing, and now I have captaincy, and he is with me. So I learn as much as I (Kohli) as I can (Kohli). Because of the quantity of experiences and thoughts, he is not,” RCB said.

Talking about Patidar's career as a batsman in the IPL, he has played 38 matches and has scored 1038 runs in the tournament at an average of 31.45 with nine half -centuries and a century. He has also maintained a healthy strike rate of 154.23.
