Most foreign players are returning to play in the remaining matches Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The tournament was suspended for a week on 9 May amid growing tension between India and Pakistan. The 18th edition is ready to resume on Saturday, 17 May, as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) takes the Royal Challengers to Bangalore (RCB).

Gujarat Titans' talistic wicketkeeper-better Jose Butler The remaining league will return to play the game. However, he will return to the United Kingdom before the playoffs for England's White-Ball series against the West Indies starting on May 30.
Instead, he is allegedly ready to join as Butler's replacement in Titans if they arrive in the playoff stages. Titans are stationed on top of the table and are at the forefront to make the playoffs. Other foreign stars such as Gerald Koetzi, Dasun Shanaka, and Kagiso Rabada will be available for the latter part of the League.
