Rajiv Shukla said, “No decision has been taken yet. BCCI officials are working on the situation. The tournament was suspended for a week, and yesterday there was a ceasefire. The tournament will be resumed soon,” Rajiv Shukla said, as quoted by Mint.

Keeping this in mind, the qualifiers 1 and the eliminators may not have changes, and they are likely to be hosted in Hyderabad, but the final and possibly qualifier 2 can be transferred from Kolkata. Ahmedabad is considered to be the safest option, with its world -class infrastructure and clear weather.
GT, SRH returns to practice
While most team members and assistant employees have returned home after suspension, Gujarat Titans have been an exception. Last year's finalist Sunrisers Hyderabad has also started preparations at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Shubman ji has continued practice sessions at his home ground in Ahmedabad. Most of the players and assistant employees stay back, while only Jose Butler and Gerald Koetzi returned home.
