Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) is allegedly looking at the possibility of resumption of 18th edition Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Immediately. He asked all the IPL franchises and their players to be ready to be ready with the IPL as India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire on Saturday.
IPL President Arun Dhumal admitted that the BCCI is now schedules and discussing with all stakeholders to resume the tournament. However, the ball is not completely in his court, as the tournament resume is subject to approval from the Government of India.
“The ceasefire has been announced. Now we find out the possibility of resumption and closing the IPL. If it is possible to operate it immediately … then we need to work on the location dates and everything, and now we will talk to all the stakeholders, including the team owners, broadcasters, and all have been included and a way is that the government said whether the government is the most important.”
BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla also confirmed that board officials would have discussed schedule with the IPL Governing Council on Sunday, 11 May.

We will review the tournament program and set the best possible way to complete it. All aspects, which were originally decided, will be taken a final decision.
