Rohit Sharma hit back on critics and claimed that it is unnecessary to criticize the players too much. While the Indian captain agreed that the players required creative criticism, he realized that critics had worked hard on it without need. Sharma addressed criticism on his IPL form, the number against the left hand and other aspects of his game.
MI Batter agreed that criticism is a part and parcel of a cricketer's life. Sharma said that he is against critics who offer much more criticism than the requirement. He claimed that critics had nothing to say about their batting. The experienced batsman claimed that his batting is not affected by what he says to critics.

He then addressed his game criticism against left -handed pacers. The right -handed batsman felt that it was not ideal for him to defend delivery against left -handed pacers. Rohit felt that the attack was the best form of defense.
“A lot of things have been said about me – as I can't play left -arm fast bouler, and many other things – but now, I don't pay attention to it now. Now, if you go and defend it, a lot of things can be wrong.
For a long time, Sharma has not done a great season with the bat in the IPL. While he has performed well in IPL 2025, especially in the last 5-6 matches, his overall record has been questioned as a batsman.
