“I think during such sports, every player and every team always focuses on their own game. I mean, it happens sometimes if a batsman is batting and there is a lot of noise around, and if you ask that batsman, he would probably say 'I would not hear anything about it,” I didn't hear anything about it, “on the earlier evening of his match against CSK.
“This was the only case with me when people used to tell me such a noise and how can you focus. But sometimes we automatically ignore that noise. So, obviously when you focus on the game, it doesn't matter much that if you ask me, it doesn't matter much,” he said.
Don't really feel pressure: Chandrakant Pandit
While the KKR cannot take the risk of losing points in this phase of the tournament, Pandit said that his team is not under any kind of pressure. He hoped that the players would be able to do justice to their ability in the upcoming three matches.
Pandit said, “Not really not (feeling pressure). I don't want to go back. We always believe that we have the best batting lineup, not clicking it unfortunately. Hope it does justice in the next three matches.”
He said, “We know the ability of every individual player. We believe them. To maintain it, you have to give them a lot of confidence, make sure they believe in themselves,” he said.
