Punjab Kings (PBK) were once again clinical with the bat as they posted a huge 236/5 against Lucknow Super Veteran (LSG) in the match 54 of IPL 2025 at HPCA Stadium in Dharamasala. Total was largely orchestrated Prabhasimran SinghWhich broke a brilliant 91 off just 48 balls, but Digvesh Rathi's spin bowling denied the second IPL centenary.
After LSG was batted in batting, PBK began a flight despite losing Priyash Arya in the first over. Josh Iglis promoted at number 3, hit a series of sixes, which placed visitors on the back leg. However, it was Prabhasimran who stole the show.
Playing at a strike rate of around 190, he hit six fours and seven sixes in his 91 -run knock. In-form opener, which is now in the seventh place in the race of the Orange Cap, was in impressive touch. With Skipper Shres Iyer (25 runs 25), the pair made a 78-run stand, causing PBKS for its highest IPL score against LSG, and the second for their 11th 200-plus score, the second for Mumbai Indians only.

Just as Prabhasimran was nine runs away from his second IPL century, Digwesh produced a concrete delivery to see the batsman. The PBKS opener tried a switch hit, but on the additional cover, Nicholas Gouran directly described it in safe hands. Rathi, which was earlier expensive, celebrated his trademark with 'Notebook' festival. The disappointment of the 24 -year -old was clear as he had gone. However, a crowd of Dharamasala and his comrades gave him a permanent ovation.

“I made a good start, I got a lot of confidence from my previous innings. I got a chance and I was able to capital. There is no such strategy, I am playing the ball on its ability, I want to thank the management as well as to support me. I felt that I can take a little time after Powerplay. While doing this and many times, the priish is doing this.
Apart from Prabhasimran and Shreyas, Camos from Shashank Singh (33* 15 to 15) and Marcus Stoinis (15* of 5) ensured that there was a good finish of PBKS. Even though Rathi took two wickets, he scored 46 runs, while Mayank Yadav had a bad magic, going for 60 in four overs, the worst figure combined by LSG bowler in IPL history.
