Indian cricketer, Ajinkya RahaneRecently expressed that he did not lose the ambition to represent the country. The former Test skipper was last played for the nation in July 2023, and is now out of reconing for a long time.
Soon 37 -year -old Raharan, who is currently leading the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, was confident in terms of fitness level required for the nation to play.
“I would like to come back to the Indian set-up again. Desire, hunger, fire is still there. I am there. I am there. I am a person who will never give up. Everyday, when waking up, it wants to represent my country,” it shared during an episode of Star Sports Press Room.

Rahane highlighted the routine that he is doing it during the off-season to grind it. He also touched his role as a batsman in general for KKR and IPL.
“During the off-season, I train for two-three sessions a day. Kaushal-wise, I have been practicing for so many years. The key to the fitness factor, I am working hard on it, focusing on my diet. I don't talk much about it. You saw me playing with different strikes in the last two-three years.
