Rajasthan Royals (RR) faced an important match against Titans (GT) of Gujarat at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, where RR needed to chase a commanding target of 210 runs to be in a controversy for the playoffs.
RR opener, Yashsvi Jaiswal and 14 -year sensation SplendorGave a fierce start to the hosts. Suryavanshi, the youngest player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), broke a half -century in just 17 balls and put his name in the record, the fastest in IPL 2025. The young left -handed player reached just 35 balls in IPL history and scored in the second fastest century, where his stunning knock included 11 sixes.
Suryavanshi announced his arrival in a grand style by opening his account with Mohammad Siraj's six off the third ball of the innings. In the fourth over, veteran Ishant Sharma was punished with a young man, for 28 runs with three sixes and two fours. Bihar-born cricketer broke two sixes and one four in Washington Sundar in the fifth over, bringing his record-breaking fifty.
Suryavanshi not only became the youngest player to score a half -century in the history of the IPL, but was also recorded fifty fifty against Gujarat Titans and the second fastest fifty for Rajasthan Royals. By the end of the powerplay, two left hands scored 87 runs to RR.
Suryavanshi continued his dominance, where he became the youngest player for the centenary in IPL history. In bowling by Karim Janat, he scored 30 runs, including three sixes and three fours. He reached his century by launching six off Rashid KhanWhich inspired emotional scenes in the stadium. RR's head coach Rahul Dravid got up from his wheelchair at the festival and the entire ground gave a standing ovation to the youth as he had removed his helmet to celebrate the historic moment.
However, his brilliant innings ended when Prasad Krishna bowled for a stunning 101 runs to Southpow. One of the runs he scored came within the limits of 94, maintained a range of around 93.
Earlier, GT scored a total of 209 runs in his 20 overs. Skipper Shubman Gill made way with 84 off 50 balls. He was well supported by English batsman Jose Butler, who scored a quick 50 -run innings from 26 balls, reaching half a century off the final ball of the innings. For RR, Mahesh Thekshana was a bowlers' pick by finishing with a figure of 35 in her four -over spell.
