Rinku Singh has played his role as a finisher, maintained composer, and focused on his fitness. The star player talked about his role as a batsman for India, KKRAnd Uttar Pradesh, accepting that he feels quite settled at number 5 and 6. “I usually bat at number 5 or 6 – I have done it up and in IPL, so I am used to it. I focus a lot on fitness because with 14 matches in the IPL, it is my responsibility to maintain my body and recover well, “Rinku told Gehotstar.

I See Russell closely: Rinku Singh
Rinku also said that looking closely to a person like Andre Russell has improved his attitude towards batting on death.
“I have been learning since I have started playing in the IPL. I look closely at Russell, especially how he bats in the last overs, and how he uses his body to generate power. I keep looking and raising things from him,” Rinku said.
With the high scores becoming an ideal in the last two sessions of the IPL, Rinku feels that there should be no surprise to see the score of 300 and the goal of chasing.
“Yes, we can do it. IPL has reached a platform wherever it is possible; last year, Punjab chased a total of 262 runs. All the teams are strong this season – any one can get up to 300,” Rinku concluded.
