Punjab Kings (PBK) batsmen were incredible against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2025. The ongoing match at Eden Garden, Kolkata watched Priyash Arya and Prabhasimran Singh's house easily against the team. He made an initial 120 -run partnership before Andre Russell's brilliant delivery. He hit a solid of 69 runs for 35 balls, hitting eight borders and four sixes.
However, while the players were forming their partnership, Prabhasimran attacked KKR's experienced spin Vizard Sunil Narin in the 11th over. He understood his diversity against the bowler and hit a switch hit, which made the shot 'correct'. He did not stop there. He hit one and six on no-ball. The right hand batsman was later rejected by Vaibhav Arora batting for 83 runs. He hit six borders and sixth sixes in his innings.

PBK scored 201 runs on the board, which the domestic team should chase to survive in the tournament. Shreyas Iyer stayed until the end of the first innings, but could play only 16 balls and scored 25 runs including a border and a six. The wickets came at regular intervals, as KKR scored just 41 runs in 34 balls. He managed to stop the batsmen from scoring runs after dismissing the openers.
In particular, this is a win for KKR as they are seventh on the points table with just three wins out of eight matches. In addition, the game has reached a point where all matches are important for teams in top five positions. Therefore, winning all sports is the only solution for KKR to qualify for playoffs. Meanwhile, PBK is in a safe place as they have to win just three matches to qualify for the playoffs.
The franchise still has six games to go to the tournament and as a result, it will be interesting to see if KKR will be able to pursue the score or will endanger its merit.
