Players review records and achieve milestones


Mumbai Indians (MI) cruelted a seven -wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 41st match of IPL 2025. After winning the toss and first to bowl, MI bowlers limited their plans to 143/8 in 20 overs with a modest to 143/8.

The Trent Bowlt was a standout with the ball, claiming 4 wickets for 26 runs, which abolished the top and lower order of SRH. He removed the Travis Head for a duck and later rejected Abhishek Sharma (8), Abhinav Manohar (43), and Pat Cummins (1). Deepak Char also pasted two important skulls, including Ishaan Kishan (1) and Nitish Reddy (2). Henrich Klassen was the only warrior for SRH, who scored nine fours and two sixes in 44 balls before Jasprit Bumrah fell in the 19th over.

In response, Ryan for Mi 11 got down to start a flight despite losing Ryon Ricelton early. Rohit Sharma led Chase in style with 70 runs scoring 70 runs off 46 balls, well supported by Will Jack (22 runs 19) and Suryakumar Yadav (40* of 19). MI chased the target in only 15.4 overs, ended at 146/3, showing his dominance with the bat.

This victory is at the third place at the points table of Mumbai Indians, giving a strong statement in the latter part of the tournament. Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad continue to struggle, now in second place in standing.
