In a high-stake confrontation between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBK), RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and opted for the first bowling, which aims to avenge his earlier defeat.
The RCB bowlers brought to that intention, placed the PBK batsmen in the check and did not allow them to score independently throughout the innings. For PBKS, Prabhasimran Singh was a lonely bright place with a Quickfire 33 off 17 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup failed to build in the beginning.
RCB's bowling attack was led by Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma, both of them took two wickets while controlling the PBK speed. In response, RCB chased was anchored by former captain Virat Kohli, who composed 73 runs off 54 balls. He was well supported by Devdutt Padikkal, who scored 61 runs off just 35 balls. His 103 -run partnership in 69 balls ensured a comfortable chase, as RCB won seven wickets.
