Rohit Sharma played his trademark bridge shot in the bowling of Mohammed Shami in the match between MI and SRH at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai in IPL 2025. Star batter sent the ball to the stand and entertained fans with his aggressive batting. Sharma's early acceleration helped MI make a good start in his run chase against SRH.
Shami tried to bowl a little less delivery to get additional bounce. However, they did not find any, as the ball turned out to be a half tracker. The right-handed batsman's reflex and hand-i coordination were strong enough to identify the length and hit the ball cleanly on the other tier.

Sharma batted well against SRH and recorded his highest score of the season so far. In his stay in the middle, the MI opener scored 26 runs in 16 balls, including 3 sixes at a strike rate of 162.5. His knock helped MI a good start, chasing a total of 163.
