who said what?
MS Dhoni, CSK (winning captain) and the match player said,
It is good to win a game. When you play a tournament like this, you want to win the game. unfortunately [earlier] The match also did not go in our way for whatever reasons. There can be many reasons. It is good to win from our side. The entire team gives confidence and helps improve the areas we want to improve. We all knew that when it does not come your way in cricket, God makes it very difficult, and it was a difficult game. If you see powerplay, whether it was combination or conditions, we were struggling with the ball. And then we were not able to achieve the beginning that we wanted as a batting unit. Also the fall of wickets. We keep losing wickets at some wrong time to some extent. One reason may be that the Chennai wicket is slightly slow. When we play away from home, the batting unit has done a little better. Maybe we need to play on wickets which is a little better so that it gives confidence to the batsmen to play their shots. You do not want to play timid cricket.
Rishabh Pant, LSG (losing captain) said,
We think we were 10 to 15 runs as a team, we kept losing wickets when the pace was with us. We had to keep sewing in partnership. The wicket was stopping a little, but I think I could get 15 runs. I feel better with each game, but sometimes it is never closed. Gradually, I am getting in my rhythm, taking every match at once. We discussed with many players, but we could not take him (Bishnoi) deeply, that (bowling in our last over) did not happen today. Bowling in Powerplay has been a concern for us, but we can pull things back. As a team we want to take positive from each game and we are trying to improve.
