Siding side Gujarat Titans (GT) Got down for a strong start against the hosts, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)Sai with openers Shubman Gill Put a solid 120-run partnership for the first wicket. However, the speed changed after Gill's dismissal, as LSG bowlers hit regular intervals to apply a brake on GT's scoring. Despite the promising start, GT can manage 180 for only 6 in its 20 overs. For LSG, Shardul Thakur and Ravi Bishnoi were standout bowlers, who were taking two wickets each.
In response, LSG opened with a new combination – skipper Rishabh Pant And Aiden Marcram. He provided a stable start, scoring 65 runs for the first wicket. After the departure of the pants, Markram joined Nicholas Goran, and together he scored a 58 -run stand winning a match for the second wicket. Markram scored 58 runs in 31 balls and knocked 58 fluently, while Gorn broke seven sixes and scored 61 runs in just 34 delivery.
Ayush Badoni (24 runs 20) sealed match With one six, as LSG chased the target with six wickets in hand and three balls. It marked LSG's fourth win in six matches of the 2025 IPL season.
For GT, Prasad Krishna was the only bowler who managed to keep things tight, scored just 26 runs and took two wickets. On the other hand, Mohammad Siraj scored 50 runs in his four overs.
