Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Mentor Dwayne Bravo caught Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain and long -time friend MS Dhoni. Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Conflict between two decorated teams on Friday, April 11 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
CSK shared a video of reunioning two icons of the game on its official social media handle. In the video, Bravo first met Ravindra Jadeja, when Dhoni, who was practicing some batting in the trap, commented in joking, “The traitor is here!”
Bravo had two stents with Super Kings as a player. He played for men in yellow color from 2011 to 2015. The Caribbean all-rounder returned to the franchise in Chennai in 2018 and served him by 2022. He also worked as his bowling coach in IPL 2023 and 2024 before joining the knights in the role of a mentor before this season.
On Thursday, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming announced that Dhoni will lead the side to the rest of the IPL 2025 Principal Captain Ruturaj Gikwad was thrown out due to an elbow injury. The former India captain led CSK five titles in the past. He can become the most successful captain in IPL history if he helps Super Kings in a bag the prestigious IPL title this year. Dhoni is currently tied as captain for most of the IIPL title with Rohit Sharma, both have five each.
CSK has not made an ideal debut in IPL 2025. He won his initial stability against Mumbai Indians before suffering four defeats on Trott.
