The Titans (GT) of Gujarat extended the line of victory in the ongoing IPL 2025, winning a 58 -run win over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the match 23 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 9 April.
First asked to bat, Gujarat Titans It reached 217/6 in 20 overs allocated, mainly due to in-form Sai Reformson, who once again anchored the innings with 82 runs off 53 balls. Despite losing Captain Shubman Gill for Jofra Archer early, reformson got concrete support in Jose Butler (36 runs 25) and M Shah Rukh Khan (36 runs 20), both kept the scoring rate through mid -over.
The innings of 2022 Champions was further pushed into the final overs for Rahul Tawatia (24* 12 to 12) and Rashid Khan (12 runs 4), which ensured that the side had crossed the 200 -run mark comfortably. Rajasthan bowlers struggled to score runs despite getting wickets. Mahesh Thekshana and Tushar Deshpande scored more than 50 runs despite taking two wickets. Archer made affordable magic of 1/30 from four overs.
In response, the Royals made a poor start to chase them as Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana went inside the first three overs. A 56 -run partnership between Sanju Samson (41 runs 28) and Shimron Hetmier (32 runs 32) gave some hope, but regular wickets placed backwards at significant times.

The famous Krishna was a pick of bowlers, which ended with 3/24 figures. His important wicket, including Samson and Hetmyer, broke the backbone of RR's chase. Rashid Khan (2/37) and Sai Kishore (2/11) also pasted some wickets. Royals were eventually excluded for 159 in 19.2 overs.
