In 18th match of 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL), Punjab Kings (PBK) was set a target of 206 runs by Rajasthan Royals (RR), hoping to secure their third win of the season. Batting first, RR scored a total of 205 runs, operating by a solid innings by Yashsvi Jiswal, who scored 67 runs in 45 balls. Captain Sanju Samson contributed a quick 38 off 26 balls, while Ryan Parag scored 43 runs off 25 balls.
In the second innings, chasing a huge target of 206, PBK was quickly nodded by RR, who took four wickets within the first seven overs, reducing PBK to 43 to 43. Jofra Archer played an important role in tightening the grip, claiming two wickets, both bowled through their magic.

Glenn Maxwell Then reached the crease and started reconstructing the innings with Nehal Wadhera.
