Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) finally ended his 17 -year defeat at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepack, handing over a disappointing 50 -run defeat to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their IPL 2025 game on Friday. This was RCB's first win since the inauguration of the IPL season in 2008 and CSK's biggest loss at home.
Batting first, RCB got a total of 196/7 total in a difficult spin-friendly wicket, with the top 32 balls with 51 with the top 32 balls. Despite being supported by Dhoni, Gaikwad decisions, including bowling changes and batting order options, have been criticized. Dhoni, who handed over the captaincy in early IPL 2024, earlier said that he discusses strategies with Gikwad, but avoids her advice.
