Finally, RCB posted a combination of 196/7 in its 20 overs.
Chennai Super Kings made a disappointing start to chase the initial wickets. Rahul Tripathi scored only 5 runs, while Captain Ruturaj Gikwad left for a duck. Deepak Hooda struggled, scored just 4 runs off 9 balls, reeling at 26/3 in 4.4 overs. Young Pratibha Rachin Rabindra scored 41 runs, but his efforts to bring CSK back into the game were not enough. Finally, MS Dhoni provided some entertainment with his 30 -run knock, but Super Kings could only manage 146/8 in their 20 overs, eventually reduced by a huge margin.
