Doctors said that Tamim Iqbal had regained conscience and spoke with a family member after Emergency Surgery on Monday. Tamim will remain in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) for the next 48 hours, as doctors will supervise their recovery from cardiac surgery.

BCB's main doctor, Dr. Debashis Chowdhury, later confirmed that Tamim had regained conscience. “Tamim Iqbal has regained awareness. The other arteries are healthy.”
BCB canceled the meeting of his counselors scheduled shortly after talking about Tamim's situation. President Faruque Ahmed rushed to the hospital with CEO Nizamuddin Ahmed and director Akram Khan, Tamim's uncle.

“The office in no adviser, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Sports Council have been in constant contact with us and receive regular updates on the State of Tamim.
“The BCB is supervising his health closely and continues to keep in touch with the hospital's medical team. The Board agrees to provide all support and assistance to ensure the rapid recovery of Tamim.”
Later in the afternoon, Muhammad de Tamim teammates, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taijul Islam visited him. A large number of journalists, the Camerapersons were at the hospital reception, apart from many fans and looks.
After confirming his international retirement in January of this year, Tamim has continued to play a domestic cricket.
