Tamim Iqbal undergoes emergency angioplasty after suffering a heart attack during Dhaka's Premier League League match

Doctors said that Tamim Iqbal had regained conscience and spoke with a family member after Emergency Surgery on Monday. Tamim will remain in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) for the next 48 hours, as doctors will supervise their recovery from cardiac surgery.

BCB's main doctor, Dr. Debashis Chowdhury, later confirmed that Tamim had regained conscience. “Tamim Iqbal has regained awareness. BCB canceled the meeting of his counselors scheduled shortly after talking about Tamim's situation. President Faruque Ahmed rushed to the hospital with CEO Nizamuddin Ahmed and director Akram Khan, Tamim's uncle.
