Khalil Ahmed and Ruturaj Gikwad shine for CSK against MI

Regardless, it was a great night for both Khalil and Ruturaj. Personally, he contributed well to the team's cause. Gikwad had an effective game as a batsman and as a captain. Khalil was one of the four highly influential CSK players of the game, with Gikwad, Nur Ahmed and Rachin Ravindra with the game.

At the beginning of his CSK, the left -handed pacer bowled 5 overs, scored just 29 runs, and claimed 3 wickets. He dismissed Rohit Sharma and Ryan Ricelton quickly in the innings and kept CSK in a major position. Later at the Death-Over stage, Ahmed claimed Trent Balt's wicket and helped CSK limit MI to 155/9.

Ruturaj also had a good game. After Rahul Tripathi's dismissal, the CSK skipper came to bat. Star batter broke a sharp 53 (26), including 6 fours and 3 sixes. Gikwad registered his fifty in his IPL career, the fastest, just 22 balls. Needless to say, it took the game away from MI.
