Ramandip Singh started his Indian Premier League (IPL) trip with Mumbai Indians (MI) before being planted by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for INR 20 lakh ahead of last season. In an interview recently, Ramandip revealed that he had more attractive offers than other franchisees, but he chose to continue with the knights as he gave him a platform to show his talent. The 27 -year -old said that he dismissed INR proposals up to 10 crore from other franchisees.
Ramandip said on Raj Shamani Podcast, “You should not leave the franchise that has helped you at this time.
Yes, there were teams ready to go after me and even paying up to 10 crores. But for me, money was never a driving factor. When I was nothing, KKR held my hand, and I wanted to give them all my support, “he explained.

Ramandip said that the franchisees who give opportunity to their players are worth loyalty in return. Born in Chandigarh, he said that earning money has not been his priority and his dream is to represent India and win the World Cup for his nation.
“IPL is a platform where opportunities are important, and the franchise that is behind you is entitled to your loyalty. Money does not matter so much. Obviously, money is important, but it was never about money[for me]My dream has always been to represent India and win the World Cup for the country, “Ramandip concluded.
