Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are hosting Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. IPL 2025 Sunday, 23 March.
The 18th edition of the 10 -Team tournament was launched after a unilateral competition between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore, last year's runner -up – Hyderabad – Hyderabad – Inaugurated winners – Rajasthan Royals – Rajasthan Royals – Rajasthan Royals. Ryan Parag will be in charge of Royals for the first time in his career. Meanwhile, Pat Cummins, who were inspiring for the Orange Army with their captaincy in the previous season, would once again lead them.
Toss update
Parag won the toss for Royals and opted to bowl first. He said that the wicket was a bit drought. He told how special it is for him to lead the side from where he started his IPL career at the age of 17. Meanwhile, Cummins felt that the toss would not play a big role, and he does not feel like batting for the first time in Hyderabad in warm and humid conditions.
Sanju Samson effect as player
Sanju Samson will play as an influence player in this encounter. Parag confirmed the same in the toss. The wicketkeeper-better will come to bat in the second innings of Clash, which will give more firepower in Royals's batting lineup. He is expected to open batting with Yashsvi Jaiswal.
