The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will kick on Saturday, 22 March, when the champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) of Silver Patidar at the prestigious Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

KKR has a strong fan in Bangladesh. This is not just because the driving distance between Kolkata and Bangladesh is only more than 300 kilometers, but because the three -time champions signed two biggest names in Bangladesh cricket like Masarf Morak and Shakib Al Hasan. Closing the door on foreign players prevent IPL from reducing the number of global audiences which is a great source of revenue for BCCI.

Stage for players of emerging cricket nations
IPL became a huge stage for cricketers from Afghanistan. Blue Tigers are currently a force to recon with world cricket. However, a few years ago, they were competing with associate countries around the world to establish themselves. Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan Afghanistan's first few players were among the first players to play in the IPL. Sharing the dressing room with some best players around the world helped them improve their skills. He also paved the way to join the league of Mujib ur Rehman, Noor Ahmed, and many others.
Nepal's Sandeep Lamichne also had sporadic opportunities to excel in the league, but failed to distribute. Tim David also made his debut in the IPL when he was playing for Singapore in international cricket. Ali Khan of USA was also planted by Kolkata Knight Riders before IPL 2020. Now, players from emerging nations have an additional incentive to perform their skills the best of their abilities because they know that IPL scouts can see them.
International cricket continues with IPL
If the IPL had been an all -India case, the League could have faced strict competition from the international cricket series. Most top international teams do not have assignments during IPL. Even if they have a series to play, most countries decide to send other-string sides, allowing big names to represent their IPL teams. However, with the availability of all international players, more bilateral competitions could be held during the IPL. The League will have to compete with international matches for the number of spectators.
Decorated players must have been denied knowledge
The IPL offers Indian players a platform to demonstrate their skills in front of the world. They get to learn a lot by choosing the minds of some international stars that share their experiences and make valuable suggestions during the season. This helps them to improve at a fast rate, as they were not given the opportunity to take the minds of these global stallvarts.
