IPL 2025: Kevin Peterson ‘excited’ for Delhi Capital Mentorship role


Delhi Capital recently unveiled former English cricketer and one of his former players, Kevin PetersonAs a patron for the 2025 version of the Indian Premier League. The official announcement was made by the franchise on Thursday, 27 February through his social. It comes three weeks before the start of the 18th installment of the Marki League.

The former cricketing Great DC is set to form a team with Hemung Badani (Head Coach), Matthew Mot (Assistant Coach), Munaf Patel (Balling Coach), and Venugopal Rao (Director of Cricket). Peterson expressed his adventure to re -associate with the franchise after representing him as a player for two sessions (2012 and 2014). He shared his feelings on X, called Delhi his “home”.

Peterson scored 305 and 294 runs in eight and 11 matches, which he played DC (Then Delhi Daredevils) in 2012 and 2014 respectively. His first tonne in the IPL came in his second season with a Delhi -based franchise. In particular, he did not facilitate in 2013 after taking a knee injury.

And I am really eager to join the squad, work closely with boys, and do everything that I can help win that final award. Peterson will be the first in the upcoming stent Marki League. He last played in the IPL in 2016.
