During the period in question [overs 11 to 24]Rizwan suffered 45 delivery, and 29 of them were dots. They did not kill a single limit, and only 16 solo. Eventually, Rizwan fought his way for 46 runs off 77 balls. He fell when he left the pitch to try and scaffolding Axar Patel, but missed and bowled.
Rizwan had a slog-service to Kuldeep Yadav for four to face the first ball. His next limit came only on 49th delivery, he faced Ravindra Jadeja in the 25th over. Another – third and last – came from Jadeja in 27th. When he was rejected by Exer in the 34th over, Rizwan’s partnership with Shakeel was 104, but it took 144 balls.
“I think Rizwan, 77 out of his 46 – Strike Rate of 59 – Just not quite good because we are talking about a team where the best batsmen in the team [Babar Azam] It is clearly out, not churning those big runs … and he got out quickly, “said Muttaz.
“Imam [had] That unfortunate run-out. So it was down to Rizwan as captain and put his hand up and showed that brave attitude. Perhaps even not only is trying to bot everything down, but perhaps better strike rotation, [the lack of] What I thought was a huge mistake, and perhaps applied a little more pressure on Saud. ,
