He was an assistant coach of Australia from 2016 to 2022, a role he left to focus on his work with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In August 2022, Shriram was also appointed as T20 Advisor to Bangladesh in front of the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.
