New Delhi: Spinner Jamel warrikan Claiming five wickets, the West Indies won the historic Test in Pakistan for the first time in nearly 35 years on Monday.
The visiting team won the second Test in Multan on the third day by 120 runs and equalized the series 1-1.
Pakistan had earlier won the initial Test in Multan by 127 runs.
Warikan, who took nine wickets in the match and 19 wickets in the series, took full advantage of the fast -moving pitches and tasted Pakistan’s circumstances.
After the victory in Faisalabad in November 1990, the win was the first Test win of the West Indies in Pakistan, which ended the victory during his tours in 1997 and 2006.

This defeat slipped the ninth and final place in the ICC World Test Championship table, while West Indies finished eighth. The title holder Australia will take on South Africa in the WTC final at Lord’s in June.
