Ever since the Indian Premier League introduced the trade window system, there have been a number of lucrative and high-profile transactions on the table. 3. Hardik Pandya (Gujarat Titans to Mumbai Indians), IPL 2024: INR 15 crore

He made his captaincy debut with Gujarat Titans in the 2022 season and struck gold with the franchise as Hardik led them to the title in his debut season. However, Hardik only played two seasons for the franchise and expressed interest in looking beyond that.
Ahead of the 2024 season, Hardik was traded to his first IPL team Mumbai Indians for Rs 15 crore. To facilitate the transaction, MI also traded Australian all-rounder Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore. After Hardik's return to the five-time champion team, he was made the captain in place of their legendary captain Rohit Sharma.
