star cricketer Riyan Parag Has shared an important update on the condition of his shoulder after successful surgery. Parag was facing shoulder problems, due to which he was also dropped from the Indian team after making his international debut in 2024. However, he continued to struggle with recurring problems, often playing under pain and discomfort.

Now that his surgery has been done, the cricketer has shown enthusiasm to return to the field as soon as possible. He will have to prove his fitness at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru before participating in any international or domestic series. However, the selectors and fans will keep a close eye on his recovery, rehabilitation and eventual return to the field.

Parag posted on his official Instagram handle, “Well, finally the shoulder won. For those who were asking, the surgery was done and went well. The last two years have tested me in ways I never expected. There were good days, disappointing days and days when getting through the game was a challenge. But I wouldn't have it any other way.”

He further captioned the post, “Now comes a different challenge – recovery, rehab and patience. I will soon be back doing what I love. See you on the other side.”

Let us tell you, Parag was made the full-time captain of Rajasthan Royals before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 and he did not disappoint at all and took the team to the playoffs in his very first attempt. The team finished third, missing a spot in the finals after a narrow defeat against Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2.

Recently, Parag was also included in the India A team and was given the role of vice-captain, but he was ruled out of the current tour of Sri Lanka due to a shoulder problem. he was replaced Ruturaj GaikwadWho has impressed so far with one century and one half-century in two innings. However, the focus will now be on the Assam all-rounder's return to the field.
