IPL 2026: RCB underutilized 3 players this season

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) successfully defended their Indian Premier League (IPL) title in 2026, and built another impressive campaign around a settled core and a well-balanced squad. The franchise retained most of its championship-winning unit and once again proved why consistency is often the key to success in T20 cricket.

While RCB enjoyed a memorable season, some players arguably did not get opportunities deserving of their performances. Despite showing promising signs whenever called upon, these players were not utilized to their full potential throughout the tournament.

Here are 3 players who were under-utilized by RCB in IPL 2026:

3. Suyash Sharma

young leg spinner Suyash Sharma Comes in the category of underutilized players. He took nine wickets in 12 matches and also did wonders with the ball. However, he was often used as an impact player and often did not complete his full quota of overs.

Given his wicket-taking ability and his habit of troubling the batsmen with his variations, captain Rajat Patidar could have relied on him more at crucial stages of the matches. With more responsibility and consistent opportunities, Suyyash would have given even better returns and played a bigger role in the team's title-winning campaign.
