For Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan was the best bowler, returning figures of 2/25 from his four overs, but his efforts were not enough to prevent RCB from pulling off a memorable win.

While GT struggled to build partnerships, Washington took over the innings and ensured the scoreboard kept going. His resilient innings helped the Titans post a respectable total of 155/8, preventing a complete collapse and giving their bowlers a chance to defend the final.

RCB stalwart Virat Kohli once again lived up to his reputation on the biggest stage and produced a masterclass in his team's chase to clinch the IPL 2026 title. Displaying impeccable timing, composure and elegance, the veteran batsman remained unbeaten on 75 off just 42 balls. Kohli's innings contained nine fours and three sixes at an impressive pace of 178.57. He scored freely around the field, mixing calculated aggression with trademark precision to keep the goal firmly in control. Appropriately, the former RCB skipper ended a brilliant innings with a six to seal the win and secure a memorable win for his team.
