Vaibhav Suryavanshi was seen enjoying the 2026 IPL final sitting with Jay Shah.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) Starlet Vaibhav Suryavanshi On Sunday, May 31, he was seen enjoying the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) final from the VIP box, sitting next to the current chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Jay Shah.

Suryavanshi enjoyed a great IPL season, but the tournament ended with a defeat in Qualifier 2, where the Royals fell to Gujarat Titans (GT). The 15-year-old finished the tournament with 776 runs at an average of 48.50, while his strike rate stood at 237.30.

The left-handed batsman is expected to win several individual awards after the final, which explains why he is the only RR player to be present at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. He was seated next to Jay Shah and IPL chairman Arun Singh Dhumal along with other representatives of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

With both Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan failing to get big scores on the board, Suryavanshi is almost certain to end the 2026 season with the Orange Cap. The opening batsman has enthralled audiences across the country by scoring a century and three in the 90s in the tournament.

Along with the Orange Cap, there is every possibility that Suryavashi will also be given the Emerging Player Award. An honor given to celebrate emerging talent, RR Kishori has shown every sign of becoming a star of the future. He is also expected to make his India debut in the coming months when the Men in Blue begin their international commitments after the IPL. The hard-hitting batsman's first task after the 20-over tournament will be to travel to Sri Lanka to compete in a triangular series with the India A team.

The 2026 IPL final to be played between the Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore has turned out to be a contest where both sides are looking to join Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders as the fourth side to win multiple trophies.
