He scored 627 runs in 2025 and 563 runs in 2026, both at a strike rate of 163, which included nine half-centuries and two centuries.
Talking about leadership experience, Marsh has been the designated deputy to Pat Cummins in ODIs and is the captain of Australia's T20 team. He was appointed the vice-captain of the ODI team for the 2023 World Cup and replaced Cummins in his absence.
