Rajasthan Royals (RR) registered a comprehensive 47-run win against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Eliminator at the Maharaja Yadvendra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Wednesday, May 27. They will now take on Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2 at the same venue on Friday.
Talking about the match, Rajasthan scored 243/8 runs when invited to bat first. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the star performer, scoring 97 runs in just 29 balls. However, Dhruv Jurel Also played an important inning of 54 runs on 21 balls.

Pathan said those who doubted Jurel's ability to bat at a high strike rate found out the reality on Wednesday. The 25-year-old finished his innings with an impressive strike rate of 238.1. This season, Jurel has scored 508 runs in 15 innings at an average of 39.08 and strike rate of 155.36.

Pathan said that the major reasons behind Jurel's success were his ability to play the ball late on the backfoot and excellent use of the pull shot.

But this time, he did not. The reason was that he was more willing to play late on the backfoot, and that is why he got success,” Pathan concluded.
