Punjab Kings (PBKS) kept themselves in the competition by defeating Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by seven wickets.

Shreyas Iyer joined Prabhsimran Singh and the right-handed pair stitched a 140-run partnership off 76 balls to take their team to the brink of victory. After Arjun Tendulkar dismissed Prabhasimran with a quick yorker in the 15th over, Shreyas took the responsibility of steering his team to victory.
He hit three sixes in the 16th over bowled by Shami. Ultimately, the 31-year-old sealed the comprehensive victory by hitting Mohsin Khan for a six on the last ball of the 18th over.
