Devdutt Padikkal Praised young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi for his remarkable performance in IPL 2026. The left-handed batsman enjoyed a sensational season, scoring 579 runs in 12 matches at an impressive average of 44.53, making him the third-highest run-scorer of the tournament.
Padikkal described the 15-year-old as a unique talent whose explosive batting ability sets him apart from others. He said that Suryavanshi has rare qualities and despite her young age she has already shown a lot of maturity.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman also revealed that despite the presence of many talented youngsters in the league, he avoids comparing himself with other players. Instead, Padikkal said he prefers to keep things simple and focus on continuously improving his game.
