Former Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Aamir Has obtained British citizenship and passport, which will enable him to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the future. The 34-year-old man was eligible for citizenship through his wife Narjis Khan, who is a British citizen.

The left-arm fast bowler also expressed his desire to play in one of the best franchise leagues in the world.
“By next year, I will get a chance to play in the IPL and if I get a chance then why not? I will play in the IPL,” Mohammad Aamir was quoted as saying by India Today.
