Rishabh Pant His campaign with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 has not been very good. However, against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Tuesday, he played some encouraging shots to entertain the fans.
On the last ball of the 17th over, Pant turned his stumps against Sandeep Sharma, who bowled an almost perfect yorker, and hit it to backward square-leg for a boundary. Two balls later, Pant played a falling scoop and the ball edged between his pads and went past the short fine-leg fielder in no time. Jofra Archer was the bowler on this occasion.
Pant's innings ended in the last over of the first innings after stand-in RR skipper Yashasvi Jaiswal invited LSG to bat first. The wicketkeeper-batsman scored 35 runs in 23 balls before being run out by Archer.
