Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) opening batsman Virat Kohli He finally returned to the scoresheet in the IPL 2026 match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium on May 13.
After consecutive ducks against Lucknow Supergiants and Mumbai Indians, Kohli ended his brief career in dramatic fashion. Facing fast bowler Saurabh Dubey, the former RCB skipper got a good length delivery which fell to him. Kohli calmly moved the ball towards square leg with soft hands and took a quick single.
This easy run caused a huge uproar in the Raipur crowd and the fans celebrated the return of the star batsman. Kohli acknowledged the encouragement with an animated celebration. Despite two low scores in the previous matches, Kohli remains RCB's leading run-scorer in the IPL 2026 season.
