Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by six wickets at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Wednesday, May 13.

After the game started late due to rain and thunderstorm, Rajat Patidar won the toss and decided to bowl first. Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen provided good starts, but Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green maintained the lead. The young pair made an important partnership of 68 runs in just 46 balls.

Rinku Singh supported Raghuvanshi after Green was out in the 13th over after scoring 32 runs in 24 balls. They stitched a partnership of 76 runs off 46 balls to help the Knights finish at 192/4 in 20 overs.

In reply, Royal Challengers lost the wicket of Jacob Bethel at the beginning of the fourth over. However, Virat Kohli missed the mark after getting out for two consecutive ducks in the last two matches. Devdutt Padikkal also made a good start. Both the batsmen got relief at the beginning of their innings.

Kohli and Padikkal put RCB in a strong position with a partnership of 92 runs in 59 balls. The latter was eventually out in the 14th over after scoring 39 runs off 27 balls. Rajat Patidar and Tim David could not score many runs, but formed important partnerships with Kohli to take the hosts to the brink of victory.

Kohli completed his ninth IPL century in the final over. Jitesh Sharma gave an important victory to his team by hitting a four on the first ball of the 20th over.

Rovman Powell missed a tough chance to get out. Virat Kohli When he was batting on 21 runs. It was the stroke of luck the former RCB skipper was expecting after being out for ducks in the last two matches. Kohli hit 11 fours and three sixes at a strike rate of 175 during his unbeaten innings of 105 runs off 60 balls.

2) Angkrish Raghuvanshi showcased his amazing talent

Angkrish Raghuvanshi completed his fourth half-century in IPL 2026. After KKR lost two wickets inside the power play, the right-handed batsman took over the innings. He scored 71 runs in 46 balls with the help of seven fours and three sixes. He played traditional cricket shots but still batted at a good strike rate of 154.35.

3)Manish Pandey took blinder

Manish Pandey is one of the best fielders in cricket. Even though he is 36 years old, he continues to take great catches on the field. In the 18th over of the second innings, the Karnataka cricketer, standing at backward point, dived to his left and took a sensational one-handed catch to dismiss Tim David.
