With this win, Gujarat Titans moved to the top of the points table with 16 points from 12 matches, while Sunrisers Hyderabad remained at the third position with 14 points from 12 matches.

1) Prafulla Hinge struck hard in the beginning

Prafulla Hinge made an immediate impact after joining the attack. The right-arm fast bowler dismissed Shubman Gill for five runs in his very first over. He continued his impressive spell by dismissing Jos Buttler for seven runs in his second over and gave Gujarat Titans two crucial blows inside the powerplay.


2) Sudarshan and Sundar steady the innings for GT

After the initial setbacks, Sai Sudarshan and Washington Sundar made important partnerships to take the innings forward for Gujarat Titans. Sudarshan played a restrained inning of 61 runs in 44 balls, hitting five fours and two sixes at a strike rate of 138.64. Washington scored 50 runs in 33 balls at a strike rate of 151.52 with seven fours and one six.


3) GT bowlers dominate SRH batting lineup

The Gujarat Titans bowlers remained on top throughout the innings and never allowed the Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen to settle on the crease. SRH were bundled out for just 86 runs, with Kagiso Rabada performing brilliantly with figures of 3/28, while Jason Holder claimed 3/20. Prasidh Krishna took 2 wickets for 23 runs, while Rashid Khan and Mohammed Siraj took one wicket each.
