Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) India recorded their fourth consecutive win of the tournament by registering an eight-wicket win over Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 51 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL).
capitals KKR were not allowed to score freely throughout the innings, thanks to their spinners, restricting them to just 142 runs in 20 overs. Anukul Roy and Kartik Tyagi took two wickets each, while Sunil Narine bowled at an economy of 4.25.
Knight Riders chased the target easily with five overs remaining. Finn Allen scored a brilliant century in 47 balls, while Cameron Green also played an unbeaten inning of 33 runs.

Throughout the history of IPL, KKR have always relied on their spinners to perform well and today once again they played a vital role in their victory. Sunil Narine bowled brilliantly and gave only 17 runs in four overs. However, it was Roy who was the best among the spinners in terms of wickets, taking two wickets in a single over, as did the dangerous Pathum Nissanka and Tristan Stubbs.
2. Australia and New Zealand combine to see KKR home
In a rare example of Australia and New Zealand coming together, an excellent partnership between Finn Allen and Cameron Green ensured the Knight Riders secured a comfortable victory. The pair made a partnership of 116 runs for the third wicket in just 64 balls, which included a lot of sixes from both the batsmen.
1. Finn Allen finally arrives in IPL
Finn Allen came to the IPL with a lot of promise, which he could not fulfill in the first few matches. However, the New Zealander eventually reached the grand stage to score his maiden IPL century, that too off just 47 balls. The right-handed batsman not only completed his century by hitting a powerful six off Mukesh Kumar but also ensured KKR's fourth consecutive win in the tournament.
